FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The NCAA, Gillette Stadium and Harvard University announced today that the 2028 NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships will be played at Gillette Stadium. The Division I, II and III men’s lacrosse champions will all be crowned at the home of the New England Patriots and Revolution during a Memorial Day Weekend full of lacrosse action on May 27-29, 2028. This latest announcement comes as Gillette Stadium also prepares to host the 2025 NCAA Men’s and Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championships when they return to Foxborough for the first time since 2018 on May 23-26, 2025.

The nation’s best collegiate men’s lacrosse teams will vie for their chance at immortality and a national title on the Gillette Stadium field, which will be the seventh time that the home of the Patriots and Revolution have welcomed the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships. Gillette Stadium first hosted the lacrosse championships in 2008 and holds the NCAA Division I Men’s Championship attendance record (2008: 48,970), three of the top five attendance records for Division I National Championship Games since 2012 (2012: 30,816, 2018: 29,455 and 2017: 28,971) and the top three Division II and Division III National Championship attendance records (2017: 31,560, 2008: 24,317 and 2009: 24,072). The championships have been previously contested in Foxborough in 2008, 2009, 2012, 2017 and 2018, attracting fans from 47 states and six international countries. In addition to its national draw, the NCAA Men’s Lacrosse Championships will once again be played in front of passionate fans from across New England.

Tickets for the 2025 NCAA Men’s and Division I Women’s Lacrosse Championships at Gillette Stadium will go on sale later this fall. Ticket, hospitality, reunion opportunities and fan activity information for the 2028 Men’s Lacrosse Championships at Gillette Stadium will be announced at a later date.
